Walpole Cross Keys Primary School

School Council

What is a School Council?

Our School Council is a group of pupils who are elected to represent the views of all pupils and to improve their School.

What do we do?

We take part in discussions and votes and also feedback any relevant information to our class. We hold class meetings to get ideas on fundraising ideas or how we can improve the school.  Sometimes we take class votes relating to discussions that we have had in our council meetings. The school council meet regularly with a member of staff.

What jobs are there?

Each year, each class elects two representatives to be members of the School Council. The Council will then meet to elect Officers below:

  • Chairperson
  • Secretary
