Pupils raise money for Comic Relief
Colourful clothing and money-raising competitions were the order of the day when our children celebrated Red Nose Day.
Pupils donned red outfits for Comic Relief’s annual appeal, which took place this year on Friday 15 March.
Older children at the school further boosted funds for the charity by running a stall which challenged staff and fellow pupils to guess the number of sweets in a jar and to guess the teddy’s name.
“We also had an assembly talking about the good work that Comic Relief Red Nose Day does, to continue to raise awareness,” said Billy Overton, Assistant Head at Walpole Cross Keys.
